FOUNDING & PHILOSOPHY

With family roots as far back as the 1920s in the Coeur d'Alene medical community, Dr. John Sturges and his wife, Jan, along with their two young sons, moved to Coeur d'Alene in 1994 to join a group practice. In 1999, they decided to start their own private solo family medicine clinic, allowing Dr. Sturges to expand his scope of medicine that now includes longevity and anti-aging.

Dr. Sturges values spending time with each patient, often providing care for patients throughout their adult lives, and in some cases spanning family generations. This freedom and autonomy, along with a mind for innovation and cutting-edge research, allows for more creative, personalized paths to health and wellness.

The patient experience at Sturges Family Practice is of utmost importance to us. Our collaborative approach to care respects the time and space you need to explore important healthcare questions and to have them answered with compassion by a practitioner who knows you.
